Brazilian Association of Ultra lights

Introduction

Brazilian Association of Ultra lights members primarily come from a aeronautics, aerospace, or aircraft field of study. ABUL members also represent those scientists from complimentary disciplines, such as aircraft, rockets, engineering, and involved in the discovery, development, and manufacture of air flight capable machines, or the techniques of operating aircraft and rocketry within the atmosphere. Various members of the Brazilian Association of Ultra lights (ABUL) gathered during the 2013 AAPS Annual Meeting and Exposition to discuss why they chose a career in a aeronautics, aerospace and how ABUL has helped foster their journey.

Ultralight Manufacturers:

Below is a list of manufacturers that report they have a kit or plans that can comply with the requirements of Part 103 as an ultralight vehicle and it should be taken to verify the manufacturer's claims of Part 103 compliance. Manufacturers can claim Part 103 compliance, however you as the operator must be able to prove to the FAA it meets Part 103 requirements. Ultralight flying represents one of the fastest and purest ways to experience the joys of aviation. From powered-parachutes and trikes to traditional fixed wings and even amphibians and rotorcraft, ultralights are fun, exciting, and in most cases, remarkably affordable. Flying ultralights is not a step up or down, but a step into a completely different and exciting sector of the flying community.
